Wireless sensors

You’ll never have too much or too little ventilation with wireless sensors

The air quality in our homes is of great significance to our health. After all, we breathe 25,000 times per day and spend the greater part of our time indoors. Thanks to our solutions everyone can enjoy top-quality air in the home. To give residents an increased sense of hassle-free living, we now stock wireless sensors and switches as an add-on to a Flair ventilation unit.

No matter whether you're sitting at home on the settee, having a birthday party, cooking, taking a shower or even if you're not at home, the wireless sensors automatically adjust the ventilation setting to the situation. So you never have too much or too little ventilation. Always sufficient fresh air and, at the same time, very energy-efficient. But what if you want to operate the system manually? That’s possible with our new wireless 3-position switches. And all of that with stylish wireless switches and sensors that look good in every interior.

CO2-control

How do you achieve hassle-free automatic ventilation with CO2 control?

Excessive CO2 concentrations can imperceptibly cause health-related complaints, such as headaches and concentration problems. The ventilation in a dwelling is normally manually controlled with a 3- or 4-position switch. With wireless sensors, however, ventilation is automatically adjusted on the basis of CO2 or moisture. As soon as the sensor measures CO2 concentrations in a room climbing, because there are people in it, the ventilation level is increased to counteract the CO2 concentration in the house. If the ventilation unit is driven by one or more CO2 sensors, the amount of air is in line with the concentration of the highest CO2 concentration measured.

In this way, ventilation is driven by demand without anyone having to intervene. CO2 sensors are available for the lounge and/or bedrooms and moisture sensors (RH) can be installed in wet rooms. The CO2 and RH sensors are also available in a version with a 3-position switch for extra manual operation if required

Wireless 3-position switch

The wireless 3-position switch is a wireless control fitted in the kitchen and/or bathroom. This 3-position switch can be used to select the setting for absence, presence and cooking/showering.

Wireless CO2 sensor

A CO2 sensor is suitable for rooms in which people spend a lot of time, such as the lounge and/or bedroom(s). The CO2 sensor measures the indoor air quality in these rooms continuously and adjusts the ventilation there automatically accordingly, depending on the CO2 concentration in the room. More than one sensor may be installed in the dwelling, up to a maximum of 12 sensors (max. 4 3-position switches, max. 4 CO2 sensors and max. 4 RH sensors). The wireless CO2 sensor is also available with built-in 3-position switch, with which you can also adjust the ventilation manually from the lounge, with a temporary ‘boost’ setting. For example in situations in which an automatic moisture sensor (RH) is unavailable in the wet rooms during cooking and/or showering.

Wireless RH sensor

The RH sensor is suitable for wet rooms in a dwelling, such as the bathroom. When, for instance, the relative humidity rises because the shower is in use, the wireless RH sensor measures this and ensures that the ventilation unit works harder. The RH sensor is also available in combination with a temporary boostfunction  for example, a combined bathroom with toilet.

Wireless and easy to install

All sensors and switches are wireless and simple to install.  The RH sensors, RH sensors with boostfunction and the individual 3-position switch have a built-in battery power supply. The service life of the battery, under normal circumstances, is at least 2 years. The CO2 sensors and CO2 sensors with built-in 3-position switch require a 230V power supply.

A signal booster is available as an optional extra. This booster is required if the signal indoors has to travel a long distance, if the dwelling is particularly well insulated, or in situations in which materials have been used that distort the signal.
